The Bangla Academy International (BAI), the world’s premier institution For the instruction of both modern and classical Bangla language and culture, was established in 2006, review at a Press confronce, National Press Club, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was opening of Student Ambassador Leadership Program (SALP). During 2011 the international higher education seminar (QIHE) at the University of NSW, Sydney. BAI provides international co-operation for Bangla language programs globally and Bangla-speaking environment which upholds much of its traditional Bangla heritage and culture within the framework of a modern democratic society.
BAI enables students to achieve broad and independent competence in spoken Bangla and to develop reading and writing skills needed for budding bangla speakers, academic research or other professional use. The language center has an audio-visual room, reference library and computer lab with internet access for the use of students and academics at the Community Language Schools situated at the language centres. It enjoys the benefits of a central location in major cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, New York, Washington, London, Jeddah, Paris, Los Angeles, Boston, Toronto, Montreal, Berlin and other major cities around the world.
Bangla is the native language of the region of eastern South Asia known as Bongo or Bangla, which comprises present day Bangladesh, the Indian states of West Bengal, Tripura, Assam, together with Sierra Leone in West Africa. With nearly 220 million native and about 300 million total speakers worldwide, Bangla is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. The Bangla language was honoured by the United Nations, which in 1999 declared 21st February as International Mother Language Day.

Bangla Academy International (BAI) is an International organisation, promoting and fostering the Bangla language, culture and heritage in the hearts and minds of the budding Bangla speakers and people from a non Bangla speaking background.
With a continually changing program of education, there is always something new, exciting and inspiring for all age groups to experience at BAI.
